Bristol Borough Rails to Trails Greenway
Working with Bristol Borough through a myriad of grant agencies, a “Rails-to-Trails” project through the Delaware Riverfront Borough was realized. The 10-year project eliminated the railroad right of way that divided the borough and transformed it into a widely-used cultural and recreational greenway that reconnected the Borough neighborhoods to the river through the installation of a landscaped open space corridor. Various associated revitalization projects included the canal and towpath restoration, new playground and athletic field construction, stormwater management improvements and riverfront access enhancements.
