To adhere to the Mercedes Benz corporate standards of quality service and facility design, Mercedes Benz of Fort Washington was required by their corporate headquarters to expand and renovate their existing 5-acre auto dealership. The property had to accommodate a full-service automobile center and sales facility on-site. Directing the site design and engineering, CMC Engineering conducted extensive zoning data research and successfully led the design team through the zoning and land development permitting process within an extremely aggressive schedule. Several sustainable site initiatives were explored and utilized on this site from roof mounted solar panels, green roof plantings, waste oil reclamation/reuse, rain gardens and pervious paving.
